A little essay...

...in celebration of an old favorite building, and from the internal dialogue of an architect fresh out of school. If there were blogs in 1999, I might have posted this writing sample on one. I needed a writing sample for a something work related, and took the opportunity to indulge in a concise piece of architectural analysis. This little building was a nyc favorite of mine from the moment it appeared in the late 90's, and from the time of its arrival until the era of the Autrian Cultural Center and the Folk Art Museum it seemed like NOTHING was going on architecturally in our great world city.
